Audiolab 8200CD CD player/DAC including remote control. Used machine in reasonable cosmetic condition. Plays fine usually. Sometimes get a ‘reading error’ when loading a disc. This can usually be cured by opening the tray and closing again.

I have used this purely as a cd player so the analogue RCA outputs work as they should, I have also played it through an outboard DAC I used to have so the co-ax digital output and the optical Toslink output are both ok. However I have never tried any digital input, usb input or the balanced analogue output as I either don’t have the cables or I have no interest in the digital input nonsense and this is why it is being sold so cheaply. There is NO remote control so dont expect one, they are easily available on Ebay. This is a fine player which sounds sublime and is an absolute bargain at this price. Here is my Audiolab 8200CDQ cd player in black, very good cosmetic condition.This has been my main player for quite a while but I am now putting it up for sale as it needs some attention. The fault is when you eject a cd when a lot of the time the display will say tray blocked and the cd tray will not open. I have overcome this by switching it off and on again until it does eject the cd. This is a common fault on this machine and Audiolab are aware of it and can fix it but I just cant be bothered to send it ti IAG to get the work done so I am passing it on to someone else who will be prepared to either fix it themselves or get it fixed. When working correctly, it is a brilliant player, one of the best so it is well worth saving. You will receive the cd player and mains lead ONLY, THERE IS NO REMOTE CONTROL. Selling at a ridiculous price for someone to fix. Described accurately so no returns will be considered, it is what it is.Please note, I will not lower the price and I will not accept offers, this is the price to be paid so dont hesitate if you want it, the price will never be lower.
