See advertised the classic Audiolab 8200 AP music and AV processor for sale. Theres very little I can add to the plaudits this unit has garnered over time; its been at the heart of my home cinema for the last 3 years where it has performed faultlessly. I dont have the original casing regrettably but you can see the accompanying manual. Reason for sale? I listen to all my music via my home theatre PC - I wanted faster HDMI switching between devices (this unit HDMI v1.4) so I bought a new AV processor. If it wasnt for the change of versions, you wouldnt be reading this ad. For all AV uses, this unit is superb with sound quality second to none: Bold, upfront with a noise floor that drops WELL below the ground youre standing on. And yes, it handles 24 bit 48khz high definition movie soundtracks so you wont be missing out on the latest offerings. A cracking piece of kit from Audiolab as you would expect: Rock solid build quality - I will be sorry to see it go. Otherwise this unit works perfectly and has no cosmetic imperfections. I’m selling it because I’m nearly 70 and simply don’t use it any more.
