Audiolab 8000a hifi amplifier D-Serial No. .....full pic set of amp on sale above. Lovely example of the 8000A audiophile amp with later D-serial number up for sale. Internally extremely clean and tidy as shown in the pic set above. Full working order...excellent cosmetic condition .....desirable version of this classic amplifier.....60 W version 207 model......gold-plated RCA inputs. Turntable / vinyl compatible with MM/MC selector switch depending on your Cartridge fitted. System tested with CD and Rega Deck (MM Cartridge) Inputs driving Mission floor standers. The RCA inputs are all in tact (see pics) and the all important CD /Tuner pair have been replaced at some point with high quality discrete gold plated & chassis mounted parts(physically held with nuts on the rear side). This is a high quality repair and looks to have been professionally done. Very unlikely to fail for the rest of its useful life! Dont miss this classic ... sounds superb and condition for 30+ year old unit is extremely good.
