This is from my personal collection, and Ive kept it safe and unused for well over forty years. I paid over two hundred dollars for it back in the day and could never bring myself to throwing it away. It was working when I retired it from use, thats to say I damaged the cartridge myself and used it quite happily for a while before moving on to something different. I havent had a turntable in over 20 years so no way to test. I still had the deluxe plastic case it came with for what thats worth. My understanding is that the body of the cartridge should still function, but the stylus may not work well because of it age. Shipping only in the United States. Happy to answer any questions.

This cartridge and stylus combination make vinyl sound like it was intended. Silky smooth and warm. It was professionally installed on my Luxman turntable in 1979. The Signet TK7E uses the TKN22 stylus, which has a 0.2 mil x 0.7 mil elliptical diamond bonded to an alloy tube cantilever. It comes complete with the original box and manual. Also includes the inner plastic box, a stylus brush and a pouch of hardware (a couple little screws and nuts). It also includes an original Signet trifold sales pamphlet/brochure. I really don't want to sell it, as I don't know what I'd replace it with. I'm listening to Miles Davis with it now, and it STILL doesn't disappoint. Even though it is currently working flawlessly, given that it's from the late 70's, and at best 45 years old, it is being sold 'AS-IS' or for 'parts or repair only'. AUDIO TECHNICA SIGNET TK7E CARTRIDGE AND TKN15 TITANIUM RARE NUDE SHIBATA STYLUS This auction is for one of the top-of-the-line moving magnet cartridges of all time. Handmade by Signet, the upper echelon division of Audio Technica. This one has the upgraded Number 15 stylus, one of many available back in 1977 from the AT dealers. Stylus 15 is a Titanium Cantilever with a Miniature Nude Square Shibata cut diamond. I have included some microscope photos of the diamond, and as you can see it is sharp and has a lot of life in it. As you can see in the video this stylus tracks exactly as it should and even tracked a record with a bit of warp with no problem. I installed it on my Thorens TP50 tonearm and played a few records. It did not disappoint; the sound is full and rich, and the cartridge tracks very nicely at the midway of the recommended weight range, 1.25 grams. A side note on this cartridge. I had read that the Audio Technica ATN12S stylus was a fit for this and I can confirm that. I had an OEM AT12S in the drawer and it slid on and worked very nicely. So this cartridge is in no way a dead end as far as stylus options. AT OEM, Jico and other aftermarket sellers give you several options for the future.
