The Audio Research VT100MKII is a black tube amplifier that supports 8ohm and 4ohm modes. It has two audio outputs in the form of banana speaker jacks. The amplifier accepts stereo L/R RCA and XLR audio inputs and has two channels. It is a vintage model made in the United States and has a power output of 100W.

For Sale, is a prestine example of an Audio Research VT60 High Definition Stereo Power Amplifier, with Silver front panel. Made in the United States. This Amplifier is known not only for its superb sound, but also for its build quality. And I can attest to this because I am only the second owner of the Amplifier and frankly wish I did not have to part with it. But the wife and I are beginning to down-size in preperation to move. As you can see in the pictures, the input and two driver tubes (6922) will come with the unit.However, the (4) output tubes (6550, KT88 or, KT90) single quad or, twin pairs have run their course and have been discarded. I ran KT88s, so you will need to re-Bias Adjust the two channels for your choice of Output Tubes to 65mv. This simple proceedure is in the Owners Manual which you will get. The (3) 6922 tubes supplied are very strong and on my B&K Dynajet 707 tester all three read above 85%. So, here is a great opportunity to find the output tubes of Your Choice, while at the same time receiving this great Amplifier at a discount! And finally, as expected, the unit comes with its original factory double box/ with foam inserts. Also comes with a third sleeve-boxto protect the outer factory box... ENJOY!

came from an estate sale of a local stereo collector of high end componets. this Audio Reseach VT100 is being sold as parts or repair. It powers up and the fan runs. that is the only testing done to it. do not have the equipment to test it , no idea if parts are missing or not. so please look at all the pictures for the best detail of what you will get. Looking thru the top , see one set of tubes on one side but not the other side and dont know if there supposed to be or not. Took the top cover off to show what the inside looks like. does power up, that is the only testing done to it. .very heavy shows shipping cost. very very heavy. again selling as parts or repair with no returns so make sure this is what you are looking for. will be packed well when shipped.

Audio Research Stereo Amplifier VT80 SE that appears to be in perfect condition, Im not sure that it is used. It is possible that it could be new but with the box being damaged and because I am not the original owner, Im listing it as used. Outer box is damaged - see pics but inner packing is in good shape. The unit is very secure behind layers of cardboard and foam packaging. I plugged it in and installed the vacuum tubes, and the power light comes one when you press the button. I dont have any stereo/audio equipment, so I dont have a way to test it. Because I cant test it, I will take returns within 30 days if there is something wrong with it. I have removed the serial number from the photos, but it is on the machine. I will do some work to the outside of the box with cardboard to make it better secured for shipment or I will pack the whole unit and box in an outer box to further protect it. Insurance and delivery confirmation with an adult signature will be required. Let me know if you have any questions or if you know how I can test it for you. This is a super expensive Stereo Amplifier; New, they are 12,000.00 on the manufactures website.

Was originally owned by a retired Dr. we originally paired this to a McIntosh pre amp and was gently powering a pair for Focal Grande Utopias for about two years until he decided to change equipment. It sounded absolutely phenomenal in his custom listening room. If I had to guess based on his information he probably put about 30 hours of soft usage before changing to a different setup. I have always stored this amplifier in climate and humidity controlled conditions never exposed to smoke etc. However I am pricing this amplifier accordingly it does have some chassis scuffs, needs a good cleaning and possibly a tune up due to length of time sitting unused and unpowered. I did plug it in the other day the Svetlana tubes glowed beautifully no weird sounds or buzzing noted. I will add more detailed photos when I get back to my other home where it is currently stored. A few scuffs here and there that add up to basically nothing. Very low hours on the tubes which were purchased from Audio Research.Includes tube cage which is a $500 upgrade.
