Up for auction is an Audio Research DAC-1 DAC [digital to audio converter. This unit is from the estate from a long time local audiophile. I do not know how much use it had, but it looks nearly near, no scratches, scuffs or dings. It was used in conjunction with an Audio Research CD transport, which is listed in another auction, this is the top unit in the photos, only it is included. Audio Research is among the very highest of high-end audio, you simply cant but better than Audio Research. I have tested the unit with the CD transport to assure it works properly, but Im not overly familiar with it, but will try to answer any questions I can. Shipping will be $45 in the US, local pick up is fine as well. If both the DAC and CD transport are purchased, shipping for the second unit will be reduced by $30.
