This is the most current, state-of-the-art, vacuum-tube DAC offered by Audio Research. Current retail is $12,000. The DAC functions as designed with no issues. Audio Research SP9MKII Highend Röhrenvorverstärker mit Top Phono Teil Den hier angebotene Audio Research Vorverstärker habe ich 1989 von einen Kölner Händler gekauft der es selber eine Zeitlang Privat genutzt hatte. Somit bin ich Erst- oder Zweitbesitzer. Seitdem (35 Jahre!) hat es mir Treue Dienste geleistet indem er auf sehr hohen Niveau zuverlässig das Zentrum meiner Highend Anlage war. Heißt aber auch das das Gerät sich nicht Kaputt gestanden hat – ein oft unterschätztes Problem! Selbstverständlich wurde es sehr Pfleglich behandelt, so werden Sie nur sehr wenige und auf keinen Fall Gravierende Macken finden. In all den Jahren war diese Vorstufe zweimal im Service: einmal Vorsorglich bei den damaligen Audio Research Importeur, dort wurden die Röhren gewechselt. Letzten Sommer sind dann diese Röhren kaputtgegangen und haben dabei zwei Transistoren – die aber nur die Funktion einer Sicherung und keinerlei Klanglichen Einfluss hatten - beschädigt. Diese wurden dann durch die gleichen Ersetzt und das Gerät mit NOS Valvo Röhren bestückt. Was den Klang insgesamt auch gut getan hat. Also, Sie bekommen ein Gerät was unvermackelt, unverbaut oder kaputt getunt worden ist. Wo auch die Historie klar ist. Generell ist zu sagen das dieses Gerät noch aus der Goldenen Highend Zeit stammt, so eine Qualität findet man heute eher selten oder nur zu unbezahlbaren Preisen. Ich hatte mal auf Amerikanischen Seiten ein vielsagendes Bericht entdeckt wo auf einer Highend Messe mit Fachautoren der Hifi Presse dieser SP9 MKII im Blindtest mit dem damalige Top Vorstärker von AR vergleich gehört wurde – obwohl alle „Fledermaus“ Ohren hatten, haben die anwesenden keinen Unterschied gehört. Das spricht für sich! Warum verkaufe ich das gute Stück! Manchmal ist es Zeit für eine Veränderung, manchmal ändern sich die Bedürfnisse, manchmal muss man auch Kompromisse eingehen und manchmal kommt alles zusammen. Aber es ist kein Notverkauf, das Gerät funktioniert einwandfrei und wird es bei der Qualität sicherlich auch noch lange. Trotzdem gilt: Privatverkauf, keine Garantie, keine Rücknahme. Originalverpackung und Zubehör ist dabei. Somit kann er auch Versendet werden. Wobei mir eine Abholung lieber wäre.
