I am selling my beloved Audio Research equipment as I have no longer any use for it in my new home. I am selling both the D-115 Stereo Power Amp and an SP9 Preamp, but this auction is ONLY for the D-115 Power Amplifier. It has been single owner since being purchased new decades ago, in a smoke-free home and well cared for. It has not seen much use or any maintenance in a while, but I powered it on and enjoyed it one last time before listing to ensure it works well, and to me it sounds as good as the day I bought it. For sale is an Audio Research SP15 hybrid preamplifier with its external SP15S power supply and brand new factory boxes in very good condition. Our tech has gone through and confirmed this preamp is in perfect working condition. Cosmetically there are some signs of use along the top edges of both pieces, and some scratches on the sides that can be seen in the pictures. But there are no blemishes that can take away from the sonic beauty of this preamplifier! The SP15 is an amazing preamp that has garnered a lot of attention in the hifi world since its release in the 1980s. I am selling my beloved Audio Research equipment as I have no longer any use for it in my new home. I am selling both the D-115 Stereo Power Amp and an SP9 Preamp, but this auction is ONLY for the D-115 Power Amplifier. It has been single owner since being purchased new decades ago, in a smoke-free home and well cared for. It has not seen much use or any maintenance in a while, but I powered it on and enjoyed it one last time before listing to ensure it works well, and to me it sounds as good as the day I bought it. It will come with as much of the original documentation/manuals as I can find - I think I have the original purchase order, too, if interested. I will not ship this, so local pickup only.
