There are some parts where the control switches are a little buzzy. There are some scratches and stains on the exterior. Other than the above, we have not checked the other details. Testauszug: ... im Vergleich zum CXR200 muss sich der CXR120 mit weniger Leistung genügen. 154 Watt bei Stereo und 76 Watt im 7.1-Modus bei 4 Ohm Last sind für die obere Mittelklasse dennoch angemessen. Im Hörtest spielte der Brite dann auch in bester Manier und stellte Steely Dans Janie Runaway die Bassläufe auch ohne Subwoofer munter und konturiert in den Raum, formte Instrumente plastisch heraus und ließ auch das Schlagzeugbecken brillant erschallen - dabei behielt der CXR 120 stets seinen ausgewogenen Charakter bei, nichts drängte sich in den Vordergrund. Bis auf die zu hoch ermittelte Trennfrequenz unseres halbgroßen Center-Speakers waren wir mit den Werten der Raumeinmessung einverstanden; die Frequenzgang-Entzerrung entfiel aufgrund des fehlenden Equalizers. Aber auch ohne verlagerte der Cambridge den finalen Kampf in Enders Game akustisch äußerst eindrucksvoll in unseren Hörraum - mit tief grollenden, doch nie dröhnenden Bässen sowie präziser, lückenloser und dabei luftiger Raumabbildung. Gleiche Tugenden dominierten auch im Stereo-Betrieb, wo der Cambridge die rhythmische Vocal-Jazz-Klänge von Christy Baron fein aufdröselte, dabei grob- wie feindynamisch sauber zu Werke schritt und obendrauf Musik den richtigen Schmelz verpasste - große Klasse! ... Bewertung: + hervorragender, audiophiler Klang + wertige Verarbeitung + 4K-Videoverarbeitung mit HDMI 2.0 und HDCP 2.2 + hohe Kraftreserven in allen Betriebsmodi - kein 3D-Ton (Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Auro 3D) - fehlende Multiroom-Fähigkeit Fazit: Cambridges zweitgrößter AV-Receiver offeriert für 1.800 Euro ausgezeichneten Klang, viel Leistung und eine wertige Verarbeitung. An der puristischen Ausstattung und dem nicht immer optimalen Bedienkomfort dürften sich Technik-Freaks allerdings stören.
