My Audio Note Kits 2.1 Signature Edition DAC. Assembled approximately 4 years ago. A very fine sounding piece of equipment. Am selling due to downsizing. This comes with the copper Audio Note coupling capacitors. It is configured for COAXIAL/SPDIF input and RCA output. I have installed XLR connectors but they are not hooked up internally. It is stock except for the power transformer. I replaced it with 3 separate toroidal transformers: one for the digital section, one for the regulated DC heater supplies, and one for B+ power. The Antek transformers are universal 120/230V configurable. Here are the model numbers which can be used to look up further information: - AS-0509 (Digital PSU) - AN-0209 (6922 Regulated Heaters) - AS-05TC300 (B+, Rectifier & Tube Regulated Heaters) The toroidal transformers have very little EMI interference as opposed to the original, quite large EI transformer. I will ship with all required tubes plus backups in some cases: - Original pair of Electro Harmonix 6922 - 3x Russian Equivalent 6BM8 (6F3P) - 2x 6X5GT Rectifier, 1 NOS RCA Note that eBay is requiring that I specify a Type for this item--their list doesnt include DAC. So I have selected Digital Amplifier instead. THIS IS A DAC ONLY! I will provide the manual / assembly instructions from Audio Note Kits to the buyer.

The LEDs for displaying the sampling frequencies CD 44 kHz and DAT 48 kHz do not light up on this model. This function was only granted to the next larger model. In this model the front panel is identical, but the control electronics for these displays is not built into the device. Only the middle “ON” light always lights up.
