Sony TA-AX4 Das Gerät (vorab nochmal mind. 30 Minuten durchgehend in Betrieb genommen) befindet sich optisch und technisch in einem sehr guten Zustand. Trotz fehlender Anleitung wurde nochmal möglichst alles so gut es eben ging getestet. Ausgänge, Eingänge, Regler, alles voll funktionsfähig. Lediglich das jungfräuliche Tape-Rec konnte mangels genereller Erfahrung nicht überprüft werden. Stellenweise können Regler - ebenso wie Vinyl - beim Verstellen schonmal kratzen. So alt müssen die heutigen Geräte erstmal werden!:D Das Netzkabel ist leicht in sich verdreht. Die Lieferung erfolgt ohne weiteres Zubehör. Abschließend zur kleinen Sonderheit für die damalige Zeit: Das grüne Leuchtband der Lautstärkenanzeige wurde von Sony als LED-Display bezeichnet. Genaugenommen sind es aber nur Kunststoffkammern mit Glühlämpchen, welche aber scheinbar nicht mehr funktionieren, da sonst das Leuchtband wohl besser beleuchtet wäre, und am unteren Rand weitere Zahlen erscheinen würden. The LTA ZOTL 10 Mk.II amplifier is an output transformer-less (OTL) amplifier using patented David Berning technology. It runs tubes in a unique way, thus consumes very little power, gives off very little heat and the tubes last a very long time. There are quite a few reviews of this particular amp in the web, as well as reviews of its integrated sibling the Z10, for one to get familiarised with what this amp is all about, a.k.a an amp with solid state like deep fast bass, holographic mid-range and clear dynamic highs, with zero noise to boot. I have bought mine from the authorised European dealer, which at the time was located in Denmark, in December of 2020. It was the latest version with the upgraded resistor ladder remotely controlled stepped attenuator which adds substantially to the overall transparent character of this amp. The tube compliment is: 2 x 12AT7/ECC81, 2 x 12AU7/ECC82 & 4 x EL84. Mind you the tubes will last for a very long time in this amp (almost forever...). The tubes included are all NOS tubes, some of the best around and nearly unobtanium today: 4 x Telam EL84s (extremely robust output tubes with extended frequency response) and 4 x E180CC/7062 (Made in Holland - two are branded Telefunken and two Mullard) which lift the amp to heights unknown as compared to regular tubes. The use of 7062 tubes is described thoroughly in the amps user guide. The amp also comes with eight (8) Iso-Acoustics Iso-pucks (4 for under the amp and 4 for under the power supply) instead of the generic (throwaway) feet. The outboard power supply which houses the transformer is wired for European voltage but can easily be changed, should one requires so. The screw on the back of the power supply box seems to have shifted a bit during transport of the amp to me originally, but this is just cosmetic. The original power supply cord (to connect the power supply to the amplifier) as well as an Apple remote, to control the volume, are also included. The amp will ship in its original box. Selling one of my favorite pieces of gear. Ive owned these on 3 separate occasions. This MZ2 was purchased brand new from LTA when it was announced that they were discontinuing this model. I had a second set of pre-outs added instead of the speaker outs because I wanted to use it as a preamp with sub outs. It makes a wonderful preamp at this price and its a fantastic headlamp too. I bought the LPS+ also from LTA separately, but it was used. Theres some marks on its top that obviously done impact its performance. The MZ2 is in mint condition. Comes with stock 12sn7s and New production Telefunkens, I cant find the stock 12AT7 tubes. This unit does not have the remote option
