For sale is a set of Audio Alchemy digital equipment: Digital Transmission Interface (DTI) Pro32 (in box)Digital Decoding Engine (DDE) v3.0Power Station ThreePower Station Four (in box) The DDE 3.0 and DTI Pro32 both power up OK. Since the DIN power cord is missing for the Power Station Three, I only used Power Station Four to test DDE and DTI. I flagged For Parts/Repair because I only did limited testing as follows. I fed digital signal to the optical input on DDE, and the front LED showed locked OK. However, I didnt get music to the audio system downstream. I suspect I need a remote to unmute or something. Anyway, I was not able to get music out from the analog output. For DTI Pro32, I only powered it up and front LEDs lit up. I didnt have proper cables to hook it to DDE but its pointless to do that because I cant get music anyway. The Power Station Four appears to be used for 100V but I didnt detect any issues when I plugged in 120V socket. The physical condition is good, with typical wear and scratches. Nothing is nasty. Be the second owner of this classic DAC. A friend purchased this new in the 90s and gave it to me as non working. The problem is a common one, the DC power input jack loses tension making poor contact, and the power wont stay on. I service vintage electronics for a living, replaced the jack, and it works perfect. Tested with a DVD player in my home audio system, functions great and sounds incredible. Comes with the original Model 7009 power supply and a digital cable with a filter on end thats used for RCA style digital connections. There is no identification on the cable, I dont know who manufactured it. It has not been used for over 10 years and was stored away in a non-smoking home. Unit is in great shape and works as designed. All lights work. This unit is very nice for Audio Alchemy collectors. The unit is in great condition. Even the unit bottom and feet are in original good condition (see photos). The feet on these units often fall apart. (update: As long as you have it all plugged in before you give this unit power it's fine. I was plugging the output into the input first which you shouldn't do but I didn't realize. This didn't hurt the unit I don't believe. Should be fine but just be careful.) I almost certain it is just the cord I used as the 3.5 millimeter jack looks like it's coming apart it's so old. I'm going to order a new cord for it but listing it now as is. I will be including everything shown but I highly recommend you buy a new cord and it should work just like new but can't guarantee as of now. Very little to no cosmetic damage to these pieces.
