Audible Illusions M3A preamp, specifically manufactured for the UK, with separate power supply 240V/50Hz and silver faceplate and knobs. This preamplifier comes with the optional gold phono-boards for low output moving coil cartridges, which alone retails for £950. Designed by the legendary John Curl, these phono boards are a scaled-down version of his well known Vendetta Research SCP 2 phono preamplifier, which is acknowledged as the very best phono preamp ever. The gold phono-boards are suitable for mc cartridges with an output of 0.1 to 0.7 mV.The Modulus comes with all AI papers, manual, original AI inner box plus protective outer box.
