Pair of MA-1 Monoblocks in very good used condition. Units have some minor scratches from age (see video). Tubes are tested good/strong on Amplitrex. NOTE: These amplifiers require some hands on skill for proper operation. You should be comfortable adjusting the bias and DC offset per the owners manual. Improper setting can damage the output tubes. Though these are fully operational we are selling them AS IS. Atma-Sphere MA-1 MK 3.3 Silver Edition. So a little history, I am selling these mono blocks for a older friend in our audio society. He sent these off to Atma-Sphere and had them upgraded to the mk3.3 version. Thanks to Ralph, Adam and Matt at Atma-Sphere these amps have been gone thru to make sure they are in good working order. The original owner rolled the tubes to Chatham Electric 6AS7G tubes since upgraded to 3.3. While going thru the unit we discovered 12 tubes that were bad or showed weakness so we changed 14 with NOS 6H13C tubes from the Soviet Union. These were purchased thru Atma-Sphere at their suggestion. There are now a couple of spares that will be provided with the units. Both amps have their original boxes from Atma-Sphere for shipping. The tubes will be removed and shipped in 2 separate boxes. So there will be 4 boxes total explaining the shipping cost. Shipping is for the lower 48 states. If you are looking at this listing you know these are great amps but please feel free to ask any questions. The Sound Anchor stands are also available so please contact me if interested and I can list them separately or work out a package deal. They are heavy so shipping will be extra.
