Audio Technica at-vm95sh cartridge with AT headshell. Shibata stylus. This is an excellent cartridge and stylus pairing for a bargain buy now price. Extremely clean and balanced sound, detailed and musical. The reviews are excellent, including a Hi-Fi Choice recommended product. It is widely regarded as a bargain considering the advanced stylus profile- this version sells at 200+. The headshell means its plug and play on any compatible turntable. This sounded great on my Technics 1210gr but soon after I bought this I was given a (much more expensive) MC cartridge so I rarely us it. I put less than 30 hours on it and AT say it should last for 800. The AT VM 95 range allow for easy replacement of styli, so experimenting with a microline, nude, elliptical or conical for older records is simple. These tend to sell for more than Im asking for here - you wont find a better upgrade to your sound for anything like the price.
