Includes factory installed Turbo option consisting of (4) Burr-Brown OPA627BP opamps. It has the ultra rare Pacific Microsonics PMD200 HDCD chip which accepts up to 96kHz/24-bit using Burr-Brown PCM-1704 true 24-bit DAC chips. It has AES-EBU balanced XLR, BNC coaxial SPDIF and Toslink optical inputs (cannot test AES input due to no balanced output on CD player). The Signature upgrade includes MIT MultiCap capacitors, OSCON capacitors, Caddock resistors, Wima film caps, Cree Schottky rectifiers. Unit has been further upgraded with old style UK made Holco resistors in local feedback loop along with Neutrik gold RCA phono output jacks. Includes owners instruction manual. There is no power cord included so I could not plug it in. And if I could plug it in I have no way to test it and see if it works. Therefore, this DAC-2 is being sold AS IS, For parts or not working and is not returnable. If you do not agree with this statement, please do not bid. The top cover does show some scratches. See the pictures for your own opinion. Since I could not test the unit I thought it was important to take pictures showing the guts of the DAC-2. Again, please look carefully as these pictures are part of the description. The Assemblage DAC-2 weighs almost 5 pounds. A lot of weight in a little box.
