Great looking vintage turntable! Great condition for its age! Seems to be functioning for the most part but the tone arm skates to the centre of the platter as soon as you place it on, not sure how to fix this so selling for parts/ repair See photos for condition

The turntable is still functional, but unfortunately, there are some issues that need to be addressed. The turntable rubber and metal top bit of plate are missing, and the top cover plastic corners have cracks. Additionally, one of the capacitors is burst and needs to be replaced. The item also has some wear marks such as scratches, so please review all photos to assess its overall condition.

ARISTON “PRO” TRANSCRIPTION TURNTABLE RARE VINTAGE - SEE DESCRIPTION (SPARES). Please note it is sold as spares and repairs. I dont have any ways of testing as there is no power adapter. Also take a close look at photos to familiarise yourself with condition. Seems like there was attempt to repair power socket. Hopefully turntable is in a working condition with correct power supply or can be fixed with right tools and knowledge. Plastic lid is missing but could be replaced with another one. This is an unbelievably rare model, definitely a great addition to someones collection. The Ariston Pro was one of the last main decks from Ariston. At this time, there was the”Icon”, a suspended sprung deck, and the “Q-deck”, a more simple solid plinth design that proved very popular in the 1990’s. The Pro took the solid plinth of the Q-deck, stripped away the semi-automatic features leaving afully manual deck, but paired it with the superior “Enigma” tone arm from the Icon, as well as the Icon’s thicker mat. As CDs grewever more popular, Ariston faded from the scene and the Pro became a rare turntable.  Do not confuse this deck with the Ariston Pro 1200 which targeted the DJ market. The Ariston Pro was one of the last Scottish”Transcription Turntables” produced by them before the brand became simply a Far-Eastern “badge”. SPARES AND REPAIRS
