All working great, you have to give the platter a little spin-start’ as the platter is very heavy on these, which is norm. The arm is also a stunnning example, looks new, with no corrosion or marks. Sounds superb and is fitted with a Shure cartridge. The only slight oddity, is the lid has a blanking plug where the lid-stay would have been, but the cut out for the lid-stay, but it’s on the other side… i ask if ythe owner had replaced the lid, he denied it.. The neon on/off switch has a mionor hair-line crack, but this hardly noticeable. I have honestly never seen one in this condition... Ariston RD11 turntable. Cosmetic condition is generally good, a few marks to the plinth which we have tried to show in the photos. No arm is included but an SME armboard is fitted. The turntable is in good working order but users should note that no base board or feet are fitted to the turntable. It would be a good idea to install a baseboard and otherwise at the very least fit some sort of cord grip for the mains lead. The turntable does not come with a lid.For these reasons we would describe the turntable as a working project. We can ship worldwide please just ask for a quote.

Ariston RD 11 80sl Manual Belt Drive with SME Carbon Fiber and Ortofon Cartridge. In like new condition. Have not used in 20 years. Has been in box in closet but turns on. Have not put all together. The tape on arm base was for shipping. In original box and packing. It is in pristine condition. Really like new. Belt may need changing due to age not use. Damping fluid probably needed for carbon fiber arm. Ortofon 200 cartridge is perfect.

I bought this unit in 1974 as I couldnt afford a Linn Sondeck, which turns out to have been made in the same factory and is virtually identical! I do not currently have a phono compatible pre-amp to check output - but it worked perfectly before I put it into careful storage. The unit comes with original manufacturers booklet and SME booklet which the purchaser may need to re-set up the arm and cartridge. I hope the photos show the condition of the unit which overall I would describe as good. It comes with an anti-rumble rubber turntable mat and good quality phono plugs/earth lead. I noticed preparing the deck for sale that a machine screw on one of the hinges is missing.
