Ariston RD80 Vintage Turntable -Rega Tonearm -audio Technica Cartridge. Classic turntable. Linn on a budget. New belt fitted. Ive polished the platter up as it was flat. Has original lid, small crack which doesnt affect use. Comes with a rega r200 tonearm fitted with rb250 weight as I bought without. Works fine, only downside is tone arm clip is missing but the arm sits nicely on its rest with lifter up. Comes with titanium headshell and award winning audio technica cartridge. I will be sad to see this go but need to downsize my collection 99p start

Selling my record collection (see my other listings), hence I figured I should sell the record deck too ! Obviously Ariston are a top quality make from back in the 80s. The stylus in the ortofon cartidge was damaged, so Ive replaced it with a brank new Dreher & Kauf stylus unit, which works well (see last photo). The old stylus also included for reference shouldl you wish to buy an identical replacement. The deck is in generally good condition, but has no lid, and there is a slight raising of the finish behind where the arm comes up. The platter is removed easily to allow speed change from 33 to 45. A felt record matt is included.. also a heavy rubber one, but you will need to adjust the springs if you wish to use this, as it causes the suspension system to sit much lower due to the weight. This is a moving magnet cartidge, so needs to plug into an amp with a proper phono input. Collection most welcome (KT3 postcode) and I can demo it, but postage also fine . As its heavy and somewhat fragile, itll be £15 to pack and ship (UK only).
