Arcam FMJ D33 DAC Digital to Analogue Converter. Excellent condition and boxed with all accessories. Offering for sale my fabulous sounding Arcam DAC. This DAC cost 2.2k new and was reckoned to beat units at the £5k plus mark. Arcam have long had associations with DCS and you can hear it with this DAC - smooth, clean, natural and non fatiguing with a staggering amount of detail. With my Tannoys the imaging is ridiculous - like you could reach out and touch the music. It has two Arcam custom FPGA filters as well as the stock Burr Brown filter. These can be selected from the remote. Arcam filter 1 is linear phase and super neutral. Filter 2 is minimum phase and a little more relaxed - closer to NOS sound with no pre-ringing and very little post-ringing. Check out the Alan Sircom and Stereophile reviews and measurements - this DAC has virtually no noise and distortion is super low with 2nd harmonic dominant.
