The Audio Research LS17 Tube Preamplifier is a high-quality audiophile preamp designed by Audio Research. This tube amplifier features two channels and comes in a sleek black color. They aren’t scratches, more like scuffs that can only be seen at certain angles with the light. It works perfectly. I don’t know how many hours are on the tubes. I purchased locally approximately 6 months ago while my SP16 was awaiting repair. I love the sound, but I do want to return to a built in phono input. This preamp is line stage only. Balanced inputs and outputs are nice to have as well for those that can use them. I do not have remote, manual, or original box. I will include a power cable. I will pack carefully and ship quickly. More from Audio Research: The LS15 is an all-new line-level preamplifier which replaces the LS2/2BMKII series. It features all-tube gain (12 dB standard) using four 6922 twin triode tubes in a Class A, fully differential zero feedback (balanced) circuit with electronically regulated high and low-voltage supplies. The LS15 includes handheld IR remote control of all essential front-panel functions. An onboard microprocessor controls a 70-step electronic relay attenuator and 5-position input selector. An additional Direct input (balanced) provides a highest-signal-purity path for your favorite music source. I have ordered the tube and it whould be here by the 23. Then i am going to open this up put it in and watch youtube videos on how to test this. but if you do not want to wait i will leave this add up and mail you the tube when it gets here.
