AUDIO RESEARCH PH3 Phono Preamp. The unit has been lightly used although the tubes have never been replaced. The chassis is in excellent condition with no dings or scratches. Internet searches turn up many examples of tube rolling that may be of interest to the buyer if they wish to replace the existing tubes. A very nice entry level Audio Research phono preamp that has received very positive reviews over the years. Comes double boxed in the original Audio Research boxes. I’ll try again on the item. I purchased this PH3 SPECIAL EDITION phono preamplifier from the local Audio Research dealer who custom ordered it with an additional set of Balanced Outputs (see photo). There is also one set of RCA output connectors. Audio Research says…”If the standard PH3 delivers music in high-resolution black-and-white, the Special Edition gives it to you in glowing, even higher-resolution color.
