Vintage Apt Corporation Holman preamplifier. Picked this up with a bunch of vintage hifi gear and selling this unit. It has not been professionally tested however it powers on, hooked up the aux in and streamed some music, played through the headphone jack just fine (on my Sennheiser hd280s). Everything sounded good. However I have no idea if all aspects of it work as this is a vintage preamp from the late 70s. Cosmetically it looks to be in really good shaper (see pics). Sold AS-IS.

Incredible all discreet phono preamplifier inputs with a circuit that has an infrasonic filter, adjustable loading for phono cartridge matching and allows for both MM and MC cartridges. It has a plethora of inputs and outputs: Phono 1Phono 2TunerAux 1Aux2Tape 1Tape 2 Tons of front panel features, balance, stereo width, great Baxandall tone controls with tone defeat, high filter, and left/right channel swaps so you can reverse the channels or listen to either the left or right in mono. POWERS ON. GOOD CONDITION PHYSICALLY. SEE PHOTOS.

Mute relay has been removed and bypassed due to failure. Some lettering missing from the front panel and some other minor cosmetic blemishes. While adjusting the volume there is some crackling like the pot is dirty. It stops once adjust. All other functions work perfectly. Power cord is a little stiff. I’ve been using this for a few months with no other issues then those listed above. Since it is a vintage component that has not been restored I am listing it as for parts/repair.

Near perfect condition, this is an original manual for the APt?Holman preamplifier. It has one fold-out schematic at the back, the rest is very detailed instructions on how to use the pre-amp. A great manual, it really explains much more than your typical manual would. This particular copy is from the guy that (I believe) designed the graphics for the manual.
