I love vocals, jazz, and many styles of music but nothing does vocals like apogee speakers. I actually purchased these speakers brand new many years after they were manufactured, from it hi-fi shop going out of business in Palm Springs California. They had been in storage in their basement for years… And I put them in storage waiting for my listening room to be built. That never happened and recently I got these out and tested them for preparation to be sold. They sound immaculate… the acoustic performance seems to be perfect… physically, thee speakers are in as close to mint condition as one could imagine… But there is a small scuff on the right side of the right speaker that I just did the other day loading them into my car. I prefer these to be a local sale … So the person can see that they’re working… And they can be put into a car safely… I do not want to ship them… but I’m reluctantly making shipping an option for US buyers. I can send a video of them in action, if you send me your email So, I’m ideally looking for a Southern California/central California buyer that can appreciate these speakers for what they are… The most incredible / Luscious and warm mid range imaginable… With incredible sound staging… And solid bass… If you’re a bassaholick… Buy a subwoofer to go with these, otherwise… They sound great on their own
