What you get. Statement D2 Preamplifier, OEM remote, OEM shipping box and packing, Microphone and stand (not shown). Shipping to the lower 48 U.S. states only. ***Power supply was professionally re-capped with very low ESR high quality Panasonic Electrolytic capacitors where available******The OEM remote was dis-assembled and had the GOOEY rubbery coating cleaned off *** If you are familiar with this product, you know that that nice rubbery feel to the remote turns to goo and becomes GROSS! The rebuilt power supply refurbished remote and included microphones are easily worth $300.00. Notes: I purchased this unit to restore for myself and use it for room correction. Unfortunately, Anthem will not provide any badly needed service information schematics or service manuals. All they want, is you to send it to them for service and your money. I have had this unit totally dis-assembled and put many hours into it. Best I can tell, is the DSP card may be the problem. With the DSP card removed the unit will function as zone 2, video, audio and FM radio will work. With the DSP card installed, none of the DSP functions will work, such as, speaker level settings. Also, all button functions are extremely slow to respond. It has the latest firmware but fails when trying to reload it via the serial port. The serial port works as the editor sees the unit and functions. It would be best to have another donor unit for board swaps to see exactly which board or boards are the problem. The display in the photos looks good but doesnt in real life and needs service or replacement. Aesthetically, the unit is very nice! After re-assembly, there were a couple of extra screws which probably belong to the motherboard. One motherboard screw was very close to a power supply transistor and was replaced with a nylon screw. Two screws in the bag may not belong to the D2. The tiny Ziplock bag is in the corner next to the power supply. A couple of the nylon standoffs holding the DAC boards are broken at the threaded stem. Comments:Repaired, this would be a very nice unit. If you have one with an ageing power supply, it would be worth it just for the supply.
