Very good condition. The only cosmetic problem is on the right side edge. Looks like a splash of some sort of glue but I didnt want to mess with and damage the coating. You wont be able to see it from 2 feet away. I purchase this amplifier from one of my local Audio/Video stores. This was one of their display models and after a couple of years they put it away for many many years. It doesnt have much use. The type of sound you get from this amplifier is going to depend on your preamplifier and speakers but this amplifier is very dynamic and with more than 200 watts RMS per channel, it will handle any speaker you put if front of it. Very nice condition Anthem MRX 540 receiver. Smoke free home, used in dedicated theater room the past 12 months, no issues with performance, includes everything shown: Receiver, remote, power cord, original box, calibration microphone/stand/cable. Box is in fair condition and styrofoam also in fair condition, but youre not buying it for the box (extra padding will be included). Check Anthems website for all the detailed specifications.
