Der Teller des Nottingham muss von Hand in Schwung gebracht werden, da der Motor gerade so viel Energie liefert, um den Plattenteller auf Drehzahl zu halten. Dadurch wird der Einfluss der Motorvibrationen auf den Teller gegenüber anderen Konzepten deutlich reduziert. Das Tellerlager gehört zu den genauesten am Weltmarkt und sorgt für einen extrem ruhigen Gleichlauf. Gerade Freunde von Klaviermusik werden diesen Plattenspieler lieben da dieser mit Abstand den besten Gleichlauf in dieser Preisklasse bietet. Has Nottingham analogue studio tonearm fitted im not sure what the cartridge is fitted could benefit from having better one fitted. Has separate heed power supply which runs on 33.3 and 45 so no messing about with the belt. Tom Fletcher wanted a motor with the lowest possible torque, just enough to keep the platter rotating, so you have to push start the platter.
