California Audio Labs Sigma II Tube Analog Processor DAC Used. Tested. Sounds great. Good cosmetic condition. Has Sovtek 12AX7 installed (see pictures). Includes power cord. The Sigma II has a full warm analog sound, particularly in the lower frequencies. It’s hard to beat the sound quality for price. It is meant to be kept powered on, as it has a recommended warm up time of 30 minutes. There is a power switch on back panel. It has 2 inputs, coaxial and optical, with the input selector switch on the back panel. It has an auto on signal detect, LED light turns on when a signal is present. Depending on your input source (I have used only CD players/transports), mechanical sounds (varies depending on source) from actuating relays may be briefly heard from chassis (not speakers) only for couple seconds when connected source is first powered on. There is a brief delay, depending on source and input being used, before the Sigma begins processing signal after it’s been detected. This is normal behavior.

Somewhat rare Cal audio alpha DAC with additional tubes (pictured) for your tube rolling pleasure. There are a pair of GE 5751s and a pair of 12AX7A’s. I have a 3rd set of tubes in the unit, but I’ll have to open the case to check what’s in there, as I don’t remember offhand (will update this description with that info). I also have the original materials ( box is now gone I think) with the resistors for output level matching. I’m not the original owner, but have had this for a long, long time.
