The horn was painted an olive drab muting color for it to blend better into the physical environment in which it was incorporated. We checked on a small spot and found the paint will remove without too much difficulty. these were removed from a custom built (part of the house) here in Southern California (Rancho Palos Verdes Estates) overlooking the harbor of San Pedro, Long Beach.
