Here we have a ALINCO ALR-72T UHF FM Transceiver w/ Mic and User Manual I have tested this as much as I can. I happen to have a dummy load and watt Meter and can confirm it is transmitting and receiving. I have a wire antenna I use just for receiving. I have pictured it powered on ( Picture 3 ) and all the buttons work, depending what mode one is in. The mic is working and operates the transceiver remotely but have not tested the mic for sound quality by talking to someone, as explained above.... I have no antenna, only a dummy load for testing. It has no fuse in line on the cord, so I would suggest to anyone buying this to put a fuse inline. When Receiving I came across someone chatting, and lots of static. Squelch is working as it should. Please see pictures for cosmetic condition From what I can tell, it is working as it should and it pushing out 24.6W according to my dummy load and digital power meter. Whilst I endeavor to put tubes together from the same year and look the same, this is not always the case. I may have the same tube but from differing years matched up in test results, which means they may cosmetically or internally look a little different... The numbers/letters in parentheses are Equivalents put in to help people to find the correct tube. If it does not say MATCHED then please do not consider them to be such. I use a TV7/U military spec Tester which is calibrated . I have 4 of these machines and all display a slightly differing value if I test the same tube, as two testers are never the same. So this shows what I get, and what you get may be slightly different. So all test results are a guide only.I also use a Hickok 752 /800/600 or Amplitrex AT1000 for testing All tubes have passed the Gas and short tests.
