Offered for your consideration is one (1) Allison Acoustics two-way crossover network removed from an MS200 speaker, U.S.-manufactured c.1990. It was used to divide a 4” mid/bass woofer from a 1” dome tweeter at 2.5kHz and has top quality materials in its construction. This crossover is from the first version MS200; later MS-200 used a smaller tweeter and cost-cutting spring-tab +/- terminals.So, please see my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this outstanding dividing network is correct for your needs. This Allison crossover is in clean, excellent condition. The black plastic chassis has no cracks, chips, or scratches. It measures 4?” in diameter, extends 2½” into the cabinet, and features heavily wound copper inductors, quality resistors, and a large capacitor. Plus, the sturdy +/- binding post input terminals hold speaker cable very tightly and can also accommodate banana plugs, pins, etc. And, Ive divided the woofer and tweeter wires neatly into pairs for the new owners convenience. Overall, this crossover network is very nicely preserved! Seldom available, this crossover is a great find if you have broken an input terminal, etc. on one of your MS200’s. It’s also ready for action in your next speaker-building project; a center-channel to match your MS200’s comes to mind! These Allison 8 woofer grills were removed from an Allison 5 speaker cabinet. I havent repainted them - just cleaned them up a bit. They are the original black color and are perfect for any restoration job as there are no cracks or shipped edges.
