Extent of testing can be seen in video I will attach shortly. Please see all pics and video for detail and condition. It seemed to be working good. Radio tuner am and fm worked. The magic eye bulb works I think. Not sure if I was getting a weak signal but the eye didn’t move much except when I tuned in on an am station. The phono input works as well as you can see in video. The overall sound quality I think is good. I’m a little biased as I like the warmth of tube amps. All I did so far was change out the little side backlight bulbs for the tuning window. Only bulb I didn’t change was the fm stereo indicator light. I deoxit’d the pots and it seemed to help clean up the sound a little. For its age I think it’s in not so bad a shape. I couldn’t tell you if the tubes are original but they all seem to be working ( don’t have a tube tester at the moment). Considering the nature of older vintage electronics, this is being sold as is with the above mentioned to be true to the best of my knowledge. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Allied 333 (Pioneer SX-34) Tube Stereo Receiver With Magic Eye TESTED WORKING. Great sounding receiver from the days gone by. Pretty clean unit. The magic light is working.
