Original Bifrost DAC (made in USA) in excellent condition. Upgraded board with AKM AK4490 DAC chipset, USB input, digital coaxial, and toslink inputs. Transparent, detailed, yet warm. A really great value DAC--Ive had the Bifrost 2 and Multibit and sold them off as they are definitely not better. On most tracks I couldnt hear a difference and at best, the other DACs sounded different with the 4490 being less etched and smoother. Its a rabbit hole of incremental difference (not upgrades!) when spending more on DACs; this is a phenomenal bargain at the price!
