All orignal spring balanced packaging included, along with all the original protection, to prevent buttons being pressed or turned during transit. The speakers are incredibly well made and still look the part. The unit worked perfectly last time it was used and put into storage. Has always been stored in a dry environment. Speakers are very large Akai SW-130 Speakers measure 22.5H x 16.5W x 12D Speakers are not boxed but will be boxed for shipping. There is no reason to believe it would not work.. but would advise a service before use. Havent been able to test again as I no longer have any tapes to test with. I dont say this very often in my descriptions but this almost looks like new. it works fine with some great features with such a small portable reel to reel and has been updated to use modern C cell batteries.
