This pinch roller was discovered in my Akai X-1800SD parts box. This item is to be considered new old stock.

Yeah this is the one, I apologize to anyone who had previously looked this, I am trained audio/video technition and we ran our teac cleaning kit on it, but had no tape reel or experience using one, so I apologize. That being said, in the condition its in if i took it part and sold the parts, I know I could get what i was asking for to begin with, just the wood case alone is 425. there is video for this on you tube. Your previous messageI out of precaution took it to a local shop to check it out for me, because as I stated, I dont know everything. I am uploading a video on youtube for you to watch, unfortunate I can not end the auction and relist it for parts, my only option is notifying winning bidder of the situation and canceling the sale. :the volume pots need attention :the 8 track and speakers work perfectly :fwd & rwd working properly - will need belt service soon :The play selection arm is not working properly (this is key to also record :all other functions are working properly I feel your pain with these things. I recently purchase two sets of 1200 dollar speakers, that both need amplifier plates, and can not be fixed. Which our company is investigating an alternative solution to the problem considering most repair we have to make are sub amp plate. I appreciate your communications with me, because I also understand concerns associated with purchasing vintage items and the cost to repair. That being said, I would not sell this pc. for parts for any less than 300.00 if and when I relist it due to this auction sale being canceled.
