Vintage Akai M-8 Reel to Reel Dynamic Microphone - Model ADM-5 Pair.

Description: AKAI Model M-8 Left and Right Mono 6BQ5 Tube Amplifiers The amplifiers were tested in the reel-to-reel machine and both got power. We tested them with a microphone and were unable to get sound other than a crackle/static sound out of the speakers. We are not sure if the VU meters are working. They lit up but the indicators did not move. They are in good cosmetic condition with some dust and light wear. They come with their tubes but have not been tested other than power on. The switches and knobs actuate. The Push to Monitor button is a little sticky. We are including the transformer with the power cord and fuse attached. It was connected to the reel-to-reel machine and not directly connected to the amplifiers, but is being included. They are being sold as is and come as shown. Please see all photos. The left amplifier uses tubes 6267, 12AX7, 6X4, 6BQ5, 6AR5.The right amplifier uses tubes 6267, 12AD7, 6BQ5, 6X4. The amplifiers each measure 12.5 x 6 x 5. The transformer measures 5.5 x 4 x 4. Combined weight is 22 lbs 3 oz.
