A rare Akai GXC-38D in full working order, good overall condition but you may want to recover it at some point in the future. Will be sent via tracked and insured courier or can be collected from Hull. A nice vintage Akai cassette deck from the 1970s, tested and all functions are working fine. The original veneer was chipped, so I wrapped it in black fablon to improve the look. It doesnt look perfect, but still looks good and the fablon can be removed easily if you wish. Collect from Hull or will be sent via tracked courier.

You will notice that some of the lettering on the top panel has come off with age. Im sure this could be replaced.The speakers are connected using 1/4 jack plugs and the sockets can be seen in the picture. This comes in its original box with the correct acrylic cover. The cover has a small crack on the rear face so this could do with some acrylic glue. Otherwise its in scratch free condition. Ive had this a few years and also have GXC-46 models so this is why Im letting this one go. Since it hasnt been used for some time it would benefit from a service but all the lights work, the spindles go round in play and fast or reverse. It has the potential of being a fantastic bit of vintage HIfI kit. Its around 10kg so postage will be quite pricey so Im estimating £15 to cover the protective wrapping etc..
