These items where recovered from unit in a garage that had sat for decades.They have been given a first pass cleaning and will probably clean up better with some further cleaning and polishing. The smoked cover is rare as I have not seen any units for sale with the cover included or offered.This cover does have a piece broken away and has minor scuffs, but overall its intact, repairable and the Akai logo is pristine. The front panels have some corrosion damage on the backside as the unit did have water damage. The front faces are in pretty good shape given the age of the unit. All the knobs, buttons, switch handles that I could remove are included. as well as the tape drive wheel. Also included is the tape head assembly cover. I have the real motors and capstan motor as well as the head assembly, they are in rough condition but maybe recoverable. If youre interested in those items please reach out to me and I will get them cleaned up and tested to make sure they at least power up and function. In gutem Zustand, siehe Bilder, muß es aber leider als defekt ausweisen.Beim Abspielen treten leichte Gleichlaufschwankungen auf, egal in welche Richtung man abspielt.Es könnte aber auch an meinen alten Bändern liegen, die aus den 60/70 er Jahren stammen.Ich benutzte es nur zum anhören dieser alten Bänder.

Kratzer ließen sich in 45 Jahren dennoch nicht vermeiden. Diese sollten meines Erachtens nach poliert werden können. Defekt ist das Zählwerk, sowie augenscheinlich die Record Taste. Hier kann ich aber auch nicht ausschließen das es sich um einen Bedienungsfehler handelt. Play beide Richtungen funktionstüchtig sowie FFW RWD Stopp und VU-Meter.Ob der Rest intakt ist entzieht sich meiner Kenntnis, somit ohne Gewähr.
