Akai EA-G80 10 Band Stereo Graphic Equalizer acquired from the family of the original owner. Thoroughly tested and working perfectly. All sliders move firmly and smoothly, indicator lamps illuminate, and switches click into place and perform their intended functions. Akai is one of my favorite brands of stereo equipment. They built their components with quality materials to last two lifetimes. Unlike many of the equalizers of the time period, Akai built this eq like a tank. I removed the top cover so you can see this is not the run of the mill empty box component (auction picture #5). There is circuitry from front to back. Also, worth mentioning this equalizer is quite heavy for its size. This unit will allow you to contour the tonal quality of the music to your personal preference. Cosmetically, a couple of tiny marks on the case that Superman would have a hard time finding and seeing. Please view the auction photos. What you see is Exactly what you get.
