I selected tubes that test the same, on both sides. One NEC 12AD7 tube removed from a working reel to reel recorder. These 12AD7 tubes are a low noise-hum tubes, and were designed as a sub for 12AX7 ECC83 in many cases. They were designed for low noise and hum, even when AC is used for filament heater voltage.
