I bought this cassette deck new in 1990. I replaced the drive belts in 2017 and its working very well. Its in very good condition externally except for a mark on the top cover and a scratch on the top of the front bezel. Serial number C006051518. Apart from the drive belts, this cassette deck is totally original, unmodified and unrestored. Im also including two packs of unused tapes plus ten used tapes - 9*TDK SA and 1*TDK MA - most of the labels and index cards are written. Theres also a 1/4-inch headphone jack adapter. The service manual is a hard copy of a download. You can also find the instruction manual online. International shipping is via eBays Global Shipping Program. AIWA AD-F770 K 3-HEAD VINTAGE CASSETTE DECK DOLBY HX PRO. Please ask any questions before bidding. The unit will be security marked. It is sold as spares or repairs….so in theory there are no returns - if any feature does not work, it is because it sold as spare/repairs. I have only tested it as per the video. The power button needs holding in. The cassette door needs investigation. It also needs a hand opening and closing sometimes. Sometimes it needs to be pressed closed to ensure the tape is located on the heads. The play button is a little sticky. But fully working. On rewind and fast forward, it sounds clonky….maybe new belts required. It is in overall good condition with just a few scratches on the top. All the sliders in dials operate freely. I have tested it using the headphone output only. The item will be very well packaged for shipping. Here we have a rather fabulous AIWA AD-F770 3 Head Dual Capstan CASSETTE DECK DOLBY B C HX Pro. 3-point Auto Tape Tuning: bias, level and eq. This is the best condition 770 I have seen for a while, very little wear if at all. Belts new, azimuth and speed adjusted with ANT audio calibration tapes. Sounds absolutely fabulous. No issues whatsoever. Heads and rollers in excellent condition. Looks like it was hardly used at all. This is the deck to have. Why pay less for a clapped out machine missing parts or a worn head when this is ready to go and in tip top condition. 100% positive feedback. Also included is the original user manual.
