just so your aware I will be available for collection mon/tues after the auction but i go away wed 17th till the following mon 22nd then i am free for the rest of the weekI bought the speakers and receiver in the 1970s new from Stuart Westmoreland in Derby, I do still have the receipt for them. Also the instruction manual for the receiver. Neither have been used for 15 years, the speakers just used as lamp stands, I am now downsizing so it’s time for them to go. I have connected it all up and as far as I can tell everything is working fine, AMAZING !!! the only issue was when I was cleaning then ready to photo I caught a wire on the tweeter, I have resoldered it back on and it seems & sounds fine as you can see in the pic phew lol. but I am very cautious of selling them due to their age and not having regular use for a number of years, so I am selling them as collection only, and I would want the buyer to have a listen to confirm your happy with it all b4 you pay and take them away, hence the reason for selling it all together as one cant be tried/listened to without the other. Then it would be sold as seen if you’re happy. Like I say it’s all very old [aprox 45 years] so could last a month of heavy use or another 45 years who nos. prob a good idea to have it all serviced/checked over after purchase. You may wonder why I am so weary about selling them so to try and explain, I have been selling unwanted items for many years for a few quid on eBay and accidentally things do go wrong possibly damage in the post or the item even with my best intentions isnt up to expectations, so when things are only a few pounds its easily resolved, how ever with this lot it would cost alot to send as they are very heavy plus they are 45 yrs old and yes at the mo work fine but if they were driven hard without a service who knows how long they will last and with them costing hundreds of pounds I would understand the disappointment but from my point of view I dont want any come back so its basically a gamble for the winner. So happy bidding, I have been as upfront and honest about it all as I can.
