Powers on, emits a light electronic whining noise. Ejects properly on the right, but the left tape holder doesnt open. Play and rewind and other buttons all seem to work. I have way to fully test or confirm so selling as is, no returns. Please note that this is a 120V/60HZ model!

Seems to power on but does nothing. I’m assuming it needs belts. Might be good to repair seems like a hard to find piece. I had been asked if there is a tape tray or cartridge yes there is. See the photos. I got the player to eject in and load but what ever slides the tape into the player isn’t working. There are motors turning and a see a at least one broken belt. Hopefully this helps.

Up for sale I have this extremely rare top of the line Aiwa mini system. It comes with the GX-120 preamp, the BX-120 amp, the FX-A120 cassette player, the TX-80 tuner, and the stand and cables and the RK-C125 remote sensor. I could only get the right channel to work on the amp, but it did sound nice and clear. The tape deck powers on, but it makes a squeaking noise and I could not get the cassette doors to open. I do not have the original remote control. Everything is in very good condition. This is a very heavy system. It weighs about 45 lbs. I would be sure to package this mini system extremely carefully in a new cardboard box with heavy duty foam and bubble wrap.
