The record spins I just cant get the arm to function. Needle seems good and will play when arm is manually moved over to record. Sold as is for parts, its a very nice turntable when everything is functioning. Also please note that output RCAs were cut and a 3.5 mm plug now carries the music...can plug directly into a receiver as is or utilize a Female 3.5mm input to RCA adapter and connect the traditional way with RCAs
