It features a 17cm passive radiator inside completely independent speaker boxes, along with the DSL (Dynamic Super Loudness) system, boasting powerful and resonating bass. The speaker unit, named Acoustic 3D system, consists of 14cm woofers and 5cm tweeters on the left and right, with a dedicated 17cm flat passive radiator for low-frequency reproduction in the center. The visual presence is quite impressive. The cassette deck, as expected from Aiwa, has excellent performance with a wow & flutter of 0.038%, on par with high-end components, and it is compatible with metal tapes, also equipped with Dolby NR. Recording level control through manual adjustment is possible as well. Unfortunately, without repair, most speaker edges degrade, leading to loss of the original sound. To ensure long-term usage with confidence, the 3 speakers - center and woofers - have been re-edged with equivalent new urethane. No scratches on volume, balance, or tone controls. The light functions normally. The digital clock function is operational. Radio reception for both AM and FM is in good working order. The belts in the cassette section have all been replaced with new generic ones, and there seems to be no current issues.
