Equipped with a 17cm-diameter passive radiator in a completely independent speaker box, this high-end machine boasted a bass sound that resonated in the gut, combined with a DSL (Dynamic Super Loudness) system. The speaker section, named Acoustic 3D System, consists of left and right 5.5in woofers + 2.0in tweeters, but has a 6.7in flat passive radiator in the center that is dedicated to bass reproduction. The appearance is also quite powerful. The cassette deck is, as expected of Aiwa with its established reputation, as high performance as a high-end component deck, with a wow flutter of 0.038%, and is compatible with metal tapes and equipped with Dolby NR. Of course, manual recording level control is also available. Unfortunately, without repair, the edges of most speakers deteriorate and the original sound is lost. Therefore, to ensure a long and worry-free life, the center and three woofer speakers have been re-covered with equivalent new urethane edges. There is no buzzing in the volume, balance, tone control, etc. Lights work properly. Digital clock is functioning. Radio AM and FM reception is normal. All belts in the cassette section have been replaced with new generic ones, and there seem to be no problems at this time. (Playback speed has been adjusted).
