AIWA FX-WZ 3500 double cassette tape deck in silver/grey. This is in excellent cosmetic condition (but please see pic 4 which shows a blemish to the back of the top on the left hand side of pic) and lights up when connected to an AIWA amplifier (which should only be an MX-Z6600M or an MX-Z4500M or an MX-Z3500M). I am unable to test this as do not have a cassette (or the correct amp), so it is being sold as not working, however the cassette doors open and close correctly and there are no loose components. The pictures showing the other AIWA equipment are shown so it can be seen that this unit lights up, but the other units are not included (the amp used is actually an MX-Z9450). You are welcome to collect from Guildford to save carriage cost, and if this suits you please let me know so I can enable this on the listing. Otherwise sent fast!

The machine is in very nice cosmetic condition as shown. Please inspect every photo carefully. It powers on. The buttons that control the tape movement (play, stop, fast forward, rewind, and record) do not respond when pressed. Other buttons respond normally and their corresponding lights come on. Tape loads very well and the eject button works well. The pause light comes on when the button is pressed. The unit will not play tape. The tape head(s) looks clean. Theres a audioble hum coming from where the power cord goes into the unit. When the ADMS button is pressed, it goes away for about a second and resumes. This machine is for repair or parts and sold as is. The item comes from a smoke-free house and will be packed securely for shipping.
