Vintage boom box- the AIWA CA-W90. Top of the line in 1984 for boomboxes. Double cassette with detachable speakers it was considered highly advanced. It was also very loud and great for break dancing in public. you wont find another one of these for a long time. Ive had this in my personal collection as a unique display piece for over 30 years. The cassette section dont work which is normal for these,but a new belt will solve it. however I cant open the left cassette deck so you get a free tape trapped inside. The overall condition is excellent. Not mint and does have some natural age from being 40 years old, however compared to others Ive seen that are full of dirt, dints and scratches, this one is super clean. Plus it has always lived in a clean smoke free home. As with all old vintage electronics I cant offer any guarantees on function so must sell as-is. Very rare model not to be missed. Can post but its a big and heavy box so could be expensive. A local buyer able to collect woulf benefit most

AIWA JX-849 Cassette Recorder Fully Restored in Excellent Working Condition. This is the top of the line cassette recorder from AIWA in 1995-96, comes with AIWAs Multi Sound Processor (MSP), BBE (2 stages) and Dolby B noise reduction. All functions, except recording, have been carefully checked, belt replace and re-apply silicon lubricant on the gear where the original factory one has dried. The motor has been replaced with a clean one to reduce wow and flutter. This unit produces punchy bass and very clean sound thanks to the BBE processor. It is the best sounding walkman I have ever owned from the 90s to early 2000s. The case is in generally good condition with some minor signs of use (scratches and a couple of small dents). All switches, buttons and volume control work perfectly. Original remote control and lapel mic are included. Unfortunately I have lost the battery case but can confirm this unit works with 3V external power supply, which actually increased the output compared to the rated 2V.
