Monitor Audio Airstream A100 Amplifier with Apple Airplay. 50watt rms per channel class AB integrated amplifier. It has, in addition to Airplay, three other inputs, namely an analogue input for connection to, say, a CD player or to a Radio tuner, a Toslink optical digital input and a digital USB input on the front for connection to a computer or ipad/iphone/ipod. Switching between the inputs is by buttons on the front of the amplifier, or by using the included remote control. If, for example, a device such as an iphone/ipad/ipod is connected by a cable into the USB socket on the front, this bypasses the 16bit DAC in the device and uses the high resolution DAC in the Airstream amplifier. Connecting using Airplay down-samples any high resolution to 16bit, CD resolution before transmission. This amplifier has Apple Airplay built in so for a simple system just add a pair of speakers and stream any audio from your iphone or ipad to this amplifier. The amplifier is in near mint condition and supplied in its original box together with cables and remote control.

Nice condition, all working. Used as a desktop system. The amplifier can be used vertically or horizontally. Has Airstream built in but have never tried using it so cannot explain if or how it works. Only used wired with cable to an iPhone. Has analogue and digital inputs.The speakers are RCA brand (Minimus 7 clone, but ported) in white. Not super hifi speakers but worked fine for desktop use. Very compact and well made metal cabinet. Included is amplifier, 2 speakers, remote for amp, mains cable.

L’appareil se connecte par un simple cordon à l’amplificateur de la chaîne hi-fi – l’AirStream offre l’avantage d’une liaison à l’ordinateur, sans fil, par Wifi. Le programme iTunes utilisé dispose d’une qualité d’encodage comparable à celle du CD (16 bits / 44,1 kHz) avec un résultat sonore théoriquement supérieur, puisqu’on échappe à ces fameux signaux d’erreurs liés à la lecture du CD (opération de lecture simultanée qui, comme chacun sait, n’est pas reconnue en temps réel). Par ailleurs, plusieurs sites proposent des téléchargements de musique en haute définition, jusqu’à 24 bits/192 kHz de très haute qualité. Enfin, l’AirStream WM-10 a été conçu avec un soin particulier dans deux domaines : l’alimentation et l’horloge. Nous avons procédé à une écoute comparative entre un CD placé dans notre Rega Apollo que nous connaissons bien, relié à notre amplificateur et le même CD reconnu par l’ordinateur et restitué à l’AirStream par Wifi. Le résultat est indiscutablement à l’avantage de l’AirStream, supérieur quel que soit le domaine. On retrouve pour un prix bien plus modeste, l’effet du Sooloos Ensemble qui a obtenu un Diapason d’or l’an dernier. L’image sonore est beaucoup plus fouillée, à la façon d’un lecteur de très haut de gamme, peut-être mieux encore, la dynamique accrue. On gagne en spontanéité musicale, en vitalité naturelle, en aptitude au phrasé, en diaphonie également, et par conséquent sur des critères tant sonores que musicaux. L’image stéréo est bien entendu de meilleure qualité. Bref, le gain est spectaculaire, avec une impression d’aisance et de diversité. Troublant et impressionnant. Comme neuf. Mode demploi inclus. Linterface sera bien sûr réinitialisée avant la vente. Il sera emballé avec soin et précautions,colissimo assuré si il doit voyager . Postage UE uniquement , prix du port sur demande. Was in perfect working order until a power cut a few days ago. Simply did not turn on after that (no lights, no noise, nothing). I replaced the fuse in the power cord but did not help. Great device, so maybe someone can fix it or use it for parts. One of the best compact amps out there. Comes with remote. SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS.

Sounds absolutely superb. Comes with amp, power cable and remote control. Selling for my mum. A minimum of 25 feedback at 100% with no negative feedback due to previous scammers.
