Der Air Tight ATM1S Verstärker wird in Osaka/Japan in liebevoller Handarbeit gefertigt. Entwickelt werden die Geräte von Atsushi Miura, Schwiegersohn des Firmengründers Yoshikawa Kingjayi, Inhaber von Lux Audio, Hersteller der früheren Luxman Audio Geräte. Im Laufe der letzten 20 Jahre hat sich eine weltweite Fangemeinde von Air Tight Besitzern gebildet. Die Geräte besitzen eine sehr hohe Wertstabilität und sind in der Tat nach dem Auswechseln der Röhren nach Jahren immer wie neu. Die Geräte werden mit den bestmöglichen und nach Klang selektierten Bauteilen die der Weltmarkt zu bieten hat bestückt. Der Aufbau der Geräte ist kompromisslos auf klangliche Bestleistungen gezüchtet, eine Fernbedienung findet man deshalb vergebens. Die Air Tight Geräte klingen detailgetreu lebendig und fließend. Alle Air Tight Geräte werden nur auf Bestellung gebaut und ausgeliefert. Der Air Tight ATM1 Endverstärker wurde nach 20 Jahren Produktion überarbeitet, weil die bisher verwendeten Trafos von Tamura nicht mehr lieferbar sind. Das neue Modell Air Tight ATM1S besitzt einen noch strafferen Tieftonbereich mit mehr Geschmeidigkeit und Strahlkraft im Mittel/Hochtonbereich. Röhrentechnologie, aber keine alten Schaltungskonzepte, sondern eigene Entwicklungen Best Tight Bass, kontollierter, schneller Tiefton im besten Sinne. Stromstarke Netztrafos garantieren beim Air Tight ATM1S hohe Kompabilität und Laststabilität mit einer Vielzahl von Lautsprechern, zum Abhören werden Elektrostaten von Quad oder andere Flächenstrahler seit Jahrzehnten bevorzugt. Der Air Tight ATM1S kontrolliert bereits Lautsprecher ab 84db ungewohnt gut.
